Meet the Owner
About The Owner-Mildred Ellison is the owner of Mellison Enterprise, LLC; a Florida based Limited Liability Corporation.
Mildred is a native of Tampa, Florida and studied at Florida A&M University. Mildred has over 30 years of experience in both the health care and the child services industry. She is the former site director of the Boy’s and Girls Club located at Mary Help Catholic Church. Barbara’s Babies is named in honor of Mildred’s mother, the late Mrs. Barbra Mims, the warm and loving family matriarch. Barbara Mims loved her babies more than life itself and that legacy continues at Barbara’s Babies.

Infant Program
Sweet laughter and soft lullabies are where imagination and learning begins. In our infant environment we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing haven where babies can explore and make new discoveries. Our personalized care will boost learning through developmentally appropriate practices, which will help your baby meet developmental milestones.
Toddler Program
Curiosity and imagination are where learning begins in our Toddler chapter, turning play into meaningful learning experiences. We boost toddlers’ confidence to explore their environment through hands-on learning exploration while building independence and an eagerness to discover.
Our atmosphere provides “your child’s home away from home” by fostering friendships, supporting emerging emotions, building healthy beginnings, sparking curiosity and promoting language development.
